Welcome
About
My name is Laurie Lassfolk, I am a young artist in the great developing world of ceramics. One day, after 10 years in merchandising, and after seeing too many reports on reconversion, I too wanted to find a new meaning to my life.
Self-taught artist, I created SAVI.
A small ceramic workshop to shape clay into unique pieces.
SAVI simply translates to clay from Finnish.
Living in France, but married to a Finn, I discovered this country and its culture through family trips to Finland.
The colors, textures and simplicity immediately touched me, and inspired my creations.
I love this country, the people and their values, the delicious food and the breathtaking landscapes.
My color palette is completely inspired by the colorful hues of the houses of the country. The love for design is felt in all the houses and my goal is to find my place there.
